CHEVRON POS PROGRAM ORDERS NOW SHIPPING WITH MX915 PIN PAD

Chevron has approved shipment of MX915 PIN Pads with Passport v10 Service Pack “P” for Passport systems and upgrades. Chevron orders going forward will ship with MX915. Gilbarco is changing Chevron full system open orders with iSC250 to MX915 (and cancelling the corresponding replacement MX915 orders for those). We are also releasing Passport Upgrade orders with MX915 to ship at this time. Chevron PIN Pads iSC250 and iPP320 have been marked non-saleable. Please enter any future Chevron Passport, completion, or upgrade order only with MX915. We will begin shipping replacement MX915 orders within the next month.

Some customers have held off closing Chevron orders waiting for availability of the MX915. Please contact your customers to close those orders now.

Important notes:
MX915 Connectivity

• MX915 connects into the Passport Firewall Router, not the EDH. Additional connectivity items are required that were not required with the iSC250.
• Chevron upgrade orders include the necessary MX915 connectivity items.
• Distributors will need to purchase connectivity items for full systems. Please reference Chevron FAQ document SP-3932B for a chart of recommended connectivity items per configuration.
• For Passport upgrades, please be aware that the MX915 requires the Firewall Router to be the Cisco router (Q13708-08B). For sites currently operating with the prior model, the Lynksys (Q13708-07 or -07B), site will need to CHANGE to the Cisco router when installing MX915.
• The Cisco Q13708-08B router is not included in the Chevron Upgrade pricing. If it is needed, the Distributor should order that component additional to the program.

PIN Pad stand

• MX915 requires a different PIN Pad stand. Two stands are available:

*including sites where MX915 replaces MX800 PIN Pad – a new stand is also required for those sites

For Chevron full system or inventory-completion open orders where Gilbarco changes the iSC250 to an MX915, if the order includes an iSC250 stand, we will also change the stand for the MX915.
