Passport Enhanced Dispenser Hub 2 (EDH2)

Manufacturing has begun a soft transition for new Passport Point of Sale system orders from the EDH (launched in early 2009) to the EDH2.

The reason for the soft transition is that components in the EDH were projected to become increasingly difficult to procure.  We’ve made this change proactively to avoid any future component supply issues.

Changes from EDH to EDH2:

• Updated motherboard (same solution is used in the PX60)
• Removed the 16G Compact Flash and added a 2nd Hard Drive (320G)
• Slightly larger footprint to accommodate the 2nd Hard Drive and motherboard

Support:

• Features and software support for the EDH2 are at parity with the EDH.
• Gilbarco will continue to support the EDH with software updates and spare parts.

Please note that from this point forward, all Passport v10 and v11 orders will be fulfilled with the EDH2.  Pricing has not changed
