ExxonMobil – Speedpass TRIND and Mat Reader Retirement in the U.S. – Nov 14, 2016

ExxonMobil had announced discontinuing the use of key tag Speedpass™ devices in the U.S. with plans to transition current customers to the Speedpass+ application.  ExxonMobil will no longer acquire new Speedpass key tag accounts beginning in 2017 and plan to discontinue accepting key tag payments in general by year-end 2017.   There are no announced changes for the Canadian market.

• Outdoor: Encore key tag Speedpass devices, also known as TRIND, will no longer be an available selection option within WOW.  If there are additional questions or clarifications needed, please contact Jason Bertinetti at jason.bertinetti@gilbarco.com.
• Indoor: Sales of new PIN Pad Mat Reader Speedpass devices and related PIN Pad stands will be discontinued.  Spare parts will be available until December 2017 or until supplies last.  If there are additional questions or clarifications needed, please contact Zack Williams atzechariah.williams@gilbarco.com.
