Clarification for BP POS Program Frequently Asked Question
Payment of installation and site survey under the BP POS program is strictly between the Gilbarco ASC and the BP retailer. Gilbarco’s ASC will quote, provide services and invoice the BP retailer at standard ASC pricing. The ASC will not be held to a specific fee for installation and/or site survey and neither Gilbarco nor BP will provide payments to the ASC for these services.
The Fulfillment Services Credit Fee (“ship-in”) is available for Gilbarco Distributors who have signed the BP Addendum to the Gilbarco Distributor Agreement. This is not related to the ASC’s installation/site survey pricing to the BP retailer. The Fulfillment Services Credit Fee is a “ship-in” payment for additional services the Distributor provides to the BP retailer for his Passport system orders purchased through BP. This may include educating BP sites about the BP program, selling BP dealers on selecting Passport as their POS choice, selling ancillary items, assisting Gilbarco to gather information aboutstatus of equipment installation, and maintaining the customer relationship with the BP retailer.
