Passport v11.02 with In-Store EMV support – Available on 1/23 for HPS-Chicago

Upgrade Kits and New Passport systems on the HPS-Chicago network will begin shipping with v11.02 for orders placed on 1/23 and later.  New functionality includes In-Store EMV, Clock-In/Clock-Out and support for the Encore 700/700S Upper Door Switch.

Important Information:

• Customers upgrading from v8.0x will also need the Enhanced Dispenser Hub (EDH) Windows 7 OS License Update (M09747K002xx).
• **NEW** – Beginning with Passport v11.02, the EDH will require 16G of Compact Flash memory (M09747B014C).  Please refer to the most recent price list for updated pricing on this part.
• Networks are requiring up to 48 hours before an upgrade to create the EMV PDL profile for the site.  Typically, this will be initiated by the retailer.  However, Gilbarco Distributors and ASCs should be diligent in communicating this to each retailer to prevent delays in EMV activation on the day of install.
