Are We Protected from Malware?

The recent Wannacry bitcoin ransomware incident in the news has some customers asking if Passport is safe.  Please remember that Passport is not communicating directly with the internet via browser or email. Secondly, unlike standard Virus protection, Passport uses a whitelisting software that only runs software that is securely signed in our facility.  Instead of sending virus updates weekly or monthly, Passport only runs applications that are securely signed by Gilbarco Veeder-Root.
