Questions about Quick Chip and Passport
With all the information around EMV, you may have some customers who are asking about the QuickChip implementation for indoor transactions. We are currently working to test with several networks for support for this functionality inside the store with Version 11.02 (Release 2) for First Data, Heartland Payment Systems-Dallas, WorldPay, and NBS. We will implement with Chevron in 11.02 (Release 3). We have not fully scoped any outdoor efforts for QuickChip, but if you want to learn more about this technology, please refer to the following Visa website: https://www.visa.com/chip/merchants/grow-your-business/payment-technologies/credit-card-chip/docs/quick-chip-guide.pdf.
