Removal of SQL Server and SQL Client Certificates of Authenticity for Passport
As part of our continuing effort to simplify and improve the Passport product line ordering process, starting in June Passport systems and Windows 10 SSD kits will no longer ship with Microsoft SQL Certificates of Authenticity (COA). This was bought about by gathering feedback that the Microsoft Certificates of Authenticities are either not shipped, lost, or too small to keep track of. We have negotiated with our supplier of Microsoft licenses and while they cannot help us with operating system COAs they have agreed Microsoft will allow us to sell OEM SQL licenses without the requirements for a COA. If a new system or kit is received without the below certificates it is not an issue as they are no longer required.
