Passport Enhanced Dispenser Hub 2c(EDH2c)and PX68Hardware

Manufacturing has begun a soft transition from the EDH2 to the EDH2c and from the PX60 to the PX68.  There is no need to upgrade or replace current EDH2 or PX60 hardware for current owners.  Distributors can continue selling EDH2 and PX60.

The reason for the transition is that some internal components of the EDH2 are being discontinued by the component supplier.  We’ve made this change proactively to avoid any future component supply issues.  The changes are not being made for performance or added capability.

Support:

• All Passport software from v21.02 or later will support EDH2c, EDH2, PX68, and PX60.
• Gilbarco has no immediate plans to end support for the EDH2 or PX60 hardware. We made significant investments in spare parts to ensure continued support for our existing hardware.

Changes from EDH2 to EDH2c and from PX60 to PX68:

• New motherboard
• New processor
• No changes in form factor

Please note that from this point forward, new systems ordered with Passport v21.02 or later will ship with the EDH2c and PX68.
