Along these lines, Gilbarco announced in March 2022 that we were launching a soft transition from EDH2 and PX60 to EDH2c and PX68. We also communicated that your customers do not need to upgrade or replace current EDH2 or PX60 hardware. Gilbarco made this change proactively to avoid any future component supply issues.
Recently, we’ve learned that some customers have concerns about purchasing PX60 and EDH2s as they think the hardware may become obsolete and not supported.

- Is there functionality with the PX68 and EDH2c that is not available with the PX60 and EDH2?

- Some internal components of the EDH2 and PX60 are being discontinued by the component supplier. To prevent supply chain issues, Gilbarco selected PX68 and EDH2c as replacements.
- Will Gilbarco continue to support EDH2 and PX60 hardware?
- Gilbarco has made significant investments in spare parts to ensure continued support for existing hardware.
- Does new hardware need to be purchased to use Passport version 21.02 and later?
- PX60 and EDH2 continue to be supported by version 21.02 and later.
- What changes were made to the EDH2c and PX68 hardware?
- The changes include a new motherboard and processor. The PX68 has the same look and footprint.
- Can I install PX60 and PX68 and EDH2 and EDH2c at the same site?
- Yes, you can combine hardware at one location.
