IS360 Instore Certificate Expiration
To Passport customers who have IS360 Instore via direct contract with Gilbarco Veeder-Root or via an oil brand PSO contract,
Security certificates are used to confirm the identity, authenticity, and reliability of an application. Every certificate has a validity period, the date range for which the certificate is valid and can be used to establish secure connections. The certificate used by Passport to connect to IS360 Instore is slated to expire at midnight on July 9, 2023.
What happens next?
If a site has already connected to IS360 Instore nothing will happen, the site will continue to be connected and users can still access their Passport remotely.
If the site has never connected to Insite360 Instore:
- Before July 10th, the site can establish the initial connection to IS360 Instore without upgrading
- After July 10th, the site must upgrade to one of the versions listed below before they can establish the initial connection to IS360 Instore to get the new security certificate
- Without the new certificate, the site will get an error message when they try to establish a connection for the first time
