Encore 700 Intercom Ordering Change
This notification serves to inform Gilbarco Veeder-Root distributors of a change in our ordering process. This update specifically impacts customers who wish to order an intercom board within a new Encore 700S dispenser. To ensure that your orders include an intercom board, when necessary, please follow the instructions outlined below.
How to Order Intercom
Previously, there were scenarios in which the intercom board could be included in a new Encore dispenser by choosing only the ‘speakers’ selection under ‘speaker options’ within the configurator. That is no longer the case effective immediately.
Important Change:
For all future orders, if a customer requires the intercom board with their Encore dispenser, it is required to select the “Call Button and Intercom Speaker” selection. Please refer to the image below for guidance on making the correct selection.
Note: If an order is submitted with only the “speakers” selection, the intercom board will not be included in the Encore dispenser.
How to Order Call Button
Call button functionality will depend on the graphics template selected for the Encore dispenser. Please follow the guidelines below:
To Receive Intercom and Call Button Functionality:
- Select the “Call Button and Intercom Speaker” option in the speaker options section of the configurator.
- Choose a graphics template that includes the call button, indicated as “Call Button: Yes.”
To Receive Intercom Only:
- Select “Call Button and Intercom Speaker” option in the speaker options section of the configurator.
- Choose a graphics template that does not include the call button, indicated as “Call Button: No.”
Pricing
The list price for the intercom and call button speaker option is as follows:
- $586 for a two-sided Encore dispenser
- $298 for a one-sided Encore dispenser
This charge will apply to all Encore dispensers that require intercom or intercom and call button functionality.
