FlexPay Connect v2 – Use with Existing Site Wiring – Dec 27, 2016

Gilbarco launched an updated version of the FlexPay Connect product called FlexPay Connect v2.  Recent testing has proven the new technology operates effectively to provide Ethernet connectivity needed for Media and EMV IP CRIND transactions on both twisted pair and stranded non-twisted wiring.  In environments where there are sources of electromagnetic interference, the system can operate effectively with minimum loss of usable bandwidth.

Retailers do not need to budget the expense of upgrading existing wire to twisted pair. Existing wiring for dispenser communications will work with minimal loss of bandwidth. For additional questions on FlexPay Connect v2, please contact your Gilbarco customer service representative.
