Encore Manager’s Keypad and Cable No Longer Shipping with Encore Dispenser Orders in the US

In the US market only, beginning with Orders Received after September 30, 2019, Encore S and Encore 700S units will no longer include a dispenser Manager’s keypad and associated cable.

In the past, every Encore dispenser shipped with a Manager’s keypad and cable as a standard feature. Recently, input we’ve received from the field service technicians reveal that most keypads shipped with units today are simply extras that never get used or just thrown in the trash. We believe removing these items represents an important security measure that can help prevent keypads from falling into the wrong hands; possibly preventing fraudulent activity through manipulating the electronics programming in the dispenser.
