Express Ordering and Software v21.03

When upgrading Passport to v21.03, sites with Express Ordering must have the following for Express Ordering to function properly:

• 1. Managed switch needs more than 8 ports
     1. If a site’s managed switch has only 8 ports, they will need to contact their MNSP to acquire hardware with more ports (16 port).
  2. PX65 Kitchen Management System
  3. Windows 10 license for each Express Ordering kiosk and PX65.  Today the Express Ordering kiosks are running Win7.
  4. Solid State Drive (SSD) for each Express Ordering kiosk

When installing a PX65 server for Express Ordering (not dependent on 21.03):

0. 1. The PX65 can only link to a monitor with a Display Port or a VGA port

• 4. 1. A Display Port-to-HDMI converter will not work for a monitor display
     2. We are investigating a USB-to-HDMI solution
  5. A cable is required to send audio signal
     1. For existing customers with PX65: We have identified affected Express Ordering PX65’s in the field and will send audio cables at no charge.
     2. Cable will be included with future PX65 purchases.
