New Software Releases: Passport® Point-of-Sale System Version 22.01

As of 11/29/22, Version 22.01 is now released and orderable for Passport and Passport Express Lane on these networks: Fiserv Generic and Valero.  Below is a list of new features and enhancements to share with retailers.

What’s New?

• Support for up to five mobile payment hosts
• Support Incomm price min-max fields from back office
• Express Lane Sales Report comparing Express Lane sales to Cashier Workstation sales
• Enhanced search functions for local accounts

• Fiserv: End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) on MX915, FlexPayII, and FlexPayIV devices
• Fiserv: ValueLink card configuration
• Fiserv: PIN bypass

Minimum Hardware/License Requirements

• Solid State Drives / Windows 10 Operating System and Auxiliary License Upgrades
  • Sites must upgrade servers, clients, and EDH2 units with Upgrade Kits containing Solid State Hard drives, Windows 10 OS, and auxiliary licenses.

• IMPORTANT! MX915 PIN Pad (PA0421) is required for all brands, including Fiserv
  • Passport Version 22.01 no longer supports Ingenico PIN Pads (iSC250 and iPP320 models) for the Fiserv network. For all other networks, support for Ingenico PIN pads was removed in Passport Version 20.04.  Sites with Ingenico PIN pads that wish to upgrade to Passport Version 22.01 should upgrade to the Verifone MX915 PIN Pad.
  • Support for the Verifone M400 and P400 PIN pads will be added to Passport software version 22.01 and 22.02 on all networks by April 2023.
